We recently enjoyed a good three-night getaway at Luccombe Manor, seeking a relaxing escape. The beautiful location with stunning sea views enhanced our stay. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, and the friendly staff couldn't do enough to ensure our satisfaction. The dining experience was really good, featuring a diverse breakfast selection and a delicious dinner. We also loved the lovely gardens and the proximity to coastal walks that let us explore the area and spot red squirrels.
Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

The staff were accommodating and smart and the location was incredible to the beach through the town which was very close. Enjoyed staying at the standard double room with very good shower in bathroom.

Everything was great, the staff were courteous. I had standard king room that also was complete with very good shower, a great view, for example.

json{ review: The cute staff made our experience good, and the room's decor added a charming touch. Breakfast was plentiful with good variety. While the hotel is dog-friendly, which is great for pet owners, a few maintenance updates, like TV size and bathroom fixtures, would enhance guest comfort significantly. , rating: 8, date of stay: 2024-03-15}'''

From the moment we stepped through the front door until we left the following morning we were made to feel most welcome. Our room was more than adequate and we were suprised to have a four poster bed to sleep in. This was a first for us. Could not fault the breakfast and the tables had clean white linen tablecloths.

Pleasant staff, good accomodation, clean, and a good breakfast
I was unaware you had to book for dinner before 15.00 and therfore had to go out. Ok for this time of the year but not in winter.

Location - the hotel is located on a cliff-top overlooking the beach, with fantastic views. It has a large conservatory and cosy bar within.
Carpets in the room looked quite old. Choice of colour as well.

Hotel was as expected and meet all our needs, staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The size of the shower cubicle in the en-suite, was far too small for the average size person and would have been impossible for a larger person. While the breakfast selection (choices) was very good, the quality of the cooked breakfast was sadly disappointing for this type of hotel and did not seem to match the higher standards of the rest of the hotel services.

The extra large bed and the room was a good size too.
I found the breakfast a little under cooked.

Apart from the arrival day when our bedroom was dusty, the hotel was clean and well presented. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff friendly. The food was of a consistently good quality and dining service efficient and friendly.
We felt that the huge king sized bed was occupying too much valuable space which could have been better used by two comfortable chairs and a normal sized double bed.

The staff made us all feel very welcome, including our 10 month old child. We stayed in one of the to -be- refurbished rooms on the first night which was a disappointment but on the second night we were moved to a newly refurbished room which was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and we would definitely return for another visit.
